Week 12 weigh in: Successes, Failures, and Changes


After 11 weeks of eating well.  Which included reducing carbs the entire time.  The idea of a meat fiesta at a Brazilian Steakhouse was becoming less appealing by the minute.  Shawn and I discussed this issue and have decided to make a change to the reward for winning (and losing too).

Dinner at 5 Guys followed by dessert at Bern's Dessert Room!

I have to say I am mighty excited about this change and can't wait for the day to get here.

Week 11 weigh in: I'm all out of ideas



Well, I'm running out of ideas here.  I'll just cut to the chase.

Both parties have lost weight this week, with Shawn having the upper hand.

We have also amended the contest a little bit.  We now will have our final weigh in on 4/8/2012 before heading to 5 Guys for some burgers and onto Bern's Dessert Room afterwards.  This just made more sense when we realized I would be in Baltimore at the time of the original finale.

Not much longer to go.  Better start focusing!

Week 10 weigh in: Don't act like you're not impressed



HOLY CRAP!

It worked!  She actually lost 4 stinking lbs this week.  Unbelievable!

Tony Robbins who?

I honestly don't know what else to say this week.  I'm blown away.  Never in my wildest dreams did I think Shawn could get under 130 after two weeks of weight gain.

VERY IMPRESSIVE!

It's back on like Donkey Kong!

Week 9 weigh in: Time to kick Shawn in the ass


Okay, I was apparently TOO gentle last week.  I have been warned about being a "dick" in the past during competitions.  I know...you are all shocked to hear this.  But I believe this is deserved and possibly needed.  I want you all to know this is meant in the most encouraging tone possible.

SHAWN!  WHAT THE FUCK!

I'm not going to let you slack off in this challenge.  If you don't succeed, WE don't succeed.  Week 9 is a tough place, it's like no man's land.  You've lost a lot of weight and you start fitting into clothes that have been "unavailable" for a long time.  Believe me, I have experienced this as well.  We cannot become complacent at this time.  Just because we fit into some stuff, doesn't mean we have met our goals.  We are just barely half way home.

Time to buckle down and have a good week.  I think you can get under 130 this week.  I KNOW you can get under 130 this week.  It's up to you to make it happen.  If I need to come over and drag you outside for a run, then that is what I will do.
